60s Era vintage Bessi wrap surplice dress with drop yoke waist and padded shoulders. Ruching at waist. Made of 100% jersey knit silk. Excellent condition with some small staining as shown which may come out with dry cleaning/spot treatment. Pucci-esque print in blues purples and greens.

In 1966 Bessi introduced his famously printed fabric with his original designs that were reminiscent of Emilio Pucci, one of his contemporaries. All of his printed pieces contain his signature and he had a very loyal following among European and American women. His pieces are collectible and very wearable.
